I began Zen Chi Ryu on the Southern Beaches of Sydney under the direct instruction of Sensei Wayne Edworthy who was a direct student of Shihan Shane Hinton in 1996 where I trained until mid 2000 before moving to Brisbane in Queensland.

Whilst in Brisbane I continued training in Muay Thai Kickboxing from 2001 to 2002. I then took a break from Martial arts and began coaching junior soccer from 2003 to 2006. I also took an interest in soccer myself and began playing in the 2nd division Brisbane Metropolitan region.

As I had always been a very keen student in Zen Chi Ryu I made enquiries whether I could offer my services as an instructor of Zen Chi Ryu in Brisbane, noticing that Zen Chi Ryu was located on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts but not in Brisbane.

I have now opened the Zen Chi Ryu Brisbane dojo and would like to invite all to attend, male and female adults and teenagers are all welcome as are children both female and male from age of 8 years and above.
