Debbie Swanson 3rd Dan Renshi
Head Instructor – Kempsey Zen Chi Ryu dojo
Debbie is a 3rd Dan Black Belt with Zen Chi Ryu and also holds a 1st degree black belt is Kyusho Jitsu. She has a love and passion for martial arts especially in regards to the benefits it has for children. She is the head instructor of the Kempsey Zen Chi Ryu dojo.
In 2010 Debbie completed her 100 man kumite to cement her 3rd Degree Black Belt.
She also holds a Bachelor of Teaching – Early Childhood which drives her knowledge, passion and philosophy when instructing children the art of Zen Chi Ryu.
Holds a Certificate II in Sports Coaching and would like to endeavour to continue to gain more education in this field.
She also holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
She has competed in many tournaments over the years with her best results being placed 2nd in the NSW NAS championship in 2002 and 4th at the WASO World championships in 2006.
